Over 250 people made the 750 miles round trip drive from Sidney to Great Falls in support of the summary judgment hearing for the diversion dam that feeds our irrigation system. The defenders of wildlife want us to remove it because they don’t believe the Corp of engineer’s fish bypass will not work to help a prehistoric fish be able to spawn upstream. Our irrigation weir has been in place for over 100 years and our community’s economy is fueled by it. Now our community and my family’s irrigated farm is in the hands of the District Judge.
